{"id":4665,"date":"2018-02-22T14:30:26","date_gmt":"2018-02-22T14:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ec-undp-electoralassistance.net\/?p=4665"},"modified":"2018-09-27T08:25:32","modified_gmt":"2018-09-27T08:25:32","slug":"public-awareness-campaign-on-enhancing-womens-participation-in-elections-in-lebanon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ec-undp-electoralassistance.net\/en\/public-awareness-campaign-on-enhancing-womens-participation-in-elections-in-lebanon\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Awareness Campaign on enhancing Women\u2019s Participation in Elections in Lebanon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) &#8211; Lebanese Elections Assistance Project (LEAP), the European Union and UN Women Lebanon partnered with the Office of the Minister of State for Women\u2019s Affairs (OMSWA) to implement an agreed roadmap with the overall objective to enhance the role of Lebanese women for effective and meaningful participation in the upcoming political elections scheduled for May 2018.<br \/>\nHence, a public awareness campaign was developed with an overall objective to enhance the role of Lebanese women for effective and meaningful participation in the upcoming 2018 Parliamentary Elections.
